We will be a state-of-the-art 160 seat comedy club that will be able to broadcast netflix specials and podcasts. With a full bar and partnering with the BBQ restaurant next door (that my family owns) they will serve the food directly into our club. Here is the breakdown for the business.
There is a 2 item food and/or beverage minimum for patron. There is a ticket cost per show ranging from $15-$40 depending on the talent. There is also a processing fee associated with each ticket that we will receive. Since we will not have a kitchen and receiving the food directly from the restaurant our margins will be 50% which is greatly higher than the average. Our beverage margins will range from 800% up to 2,000% depending on non-alcoholics, cocktails, beers and wines.

We are planning on 7 shows a week Wed -Sunday. The city owns the building and has given us an amazing lease. Our rent will be $2,535 a month with option to buy the building.

We are also planning on renting the venue to special events, business presentations, birthdays and roasts.

Our projected yearly gross income will be from 2,35 million - $3 million.

The comedy industry has been booming and showing signs of major growth. The Improv clubs across the country have been remodeling their venues to be larger due to the demand of live comedy. Up to 600 capacity. In our region there isn't a comedy venue for about 20 miles. We have 2 freeways very close to the venue and we are surrounded by 20 cities in our radius that will make going to our club easy without dealing with traffic. Live comedy is a 300+ million a year industry.

The City of Bellflower has just built a 350 car free parking garage across the street as well as investing in their downtown. A movie theatre and 100 luxury living apartment complex will be built also across the street by next year. There are 2 large hotels that will be built in the area as well as other ventures.

There are also plans for the metro blue line to pass right through the city in the next few years bringing more people to the area.
