How we built our business using this one hack
By: Kurran Dewan
It might come as a surprise to you to hear that Gunnga is a fairly new company. We have only been in operation for over 2 years.
We came up with the concept of connecting Entrepreneurs with investors as effectively and affordably as possible.
Most Angel networks charge a lot of money for this service which we wanted to give away for free.
Today, we have thousands of members using our platform every day, but it wasn’t always like that.
We built this business on a boot strap budget and the end result has been pretty amazing.
The biggest contributor to our development was Fiverr.com
In this article we are going to share exactly which gigs we used, how effective they were and a link so you can use them as well.
You may have seen this video somewhere on our website or as an Ad.
We created this video using a gig on Fiverr, it cost us something like $100 for a 3 minute video.
The process was very quick and easy, the turn around time was around 2 days.
This video allowed us to talk directly with our audience in a simple and clear manor without any distractions.
This video has increased our sign-up conversions by 43%
2. Email sequence.
This gig was a bit experimental. We came across it and the reviews seemed quite impressive so we decided to give it a try.
What the seller does, is create a (soap opera sequence) of 7 emails which go out to your prospective clients. and the idea is, by the 7th email they are convinced to make a purchase or take an action.
The seller of this gig will evaluate your business and create a story.
Each email finishes on a cliff hanger which entices the reader to open the next email.
We found it very effective and engaging, it increased our sign-ups significantly.
It cost us around $140 for the standard service, there is also a service starting at $5.
We increased our SEO ranking significantly using this gig.
It was very cost effective at only $20.
The whole process was quick and easy to use. We just sent the seller our URL and keywords and he took care of the rest.
There’s not much more to say about this gig it’s pretty straight forward. If you would like to increase your SEO visibility, then give them a try.
4. Google AdWords.
Using this gig, the seller helped us create our full Google AdWords campaign from start to finish.
The seller is very experienced and knowledgeable on Google Adwords and helped us a lot.
As a result, our CTR (click through rate) was very high, and ROI was also very impressive.
This gig allowed us to target the right people and convert them into paying customers, which allowed us to grow quickly.
5. Page speed.
One of the final pieces of the puzzle with our google ranking was the speed of our page.
Google puts page loading time as an important part of your ranking and therefore it’s a good idea to ensure your page speed is the best it can be out of 100.
Realising we had this problem, we decided to search Fiverr and see if someone was able to help us.
That is when we came across this gig.
The seller was very honest and straight forward about how he could help us. And we decided to give him a try.
The gig was cost effective and turn around time was around 3 days.
By the end of the gig, the seller had provided exactly what he had promised which was an improvement on our page speed score.
We went from
Mobile: 30 to 70 out of 100
Desktop: 80 to 98 out of 100
This helped us massively with our SEO ranking which generated thousands of organic visitors.
That is all for now. We use Fiverr.com on a regular basis, and tend to try new gigs to see what value can be added to our platform.
Give the above gigs a try, or search the platform and discover something new.
